Since 2021, I have run the Queer Makers’ Market, a market series for makers of all genres who identify as LGBTQIA+ to vend their wares in queer community.
The monthly, seasonal pop-ups in the public, accessible, and very visible Congress Square Park are intentionally placed and organized to demonstrate to makers, participants, and close-minded passersby that queerness is normal, natural, and deserves the same amount of space, attention, and care as non-marginalized identities.
Markets frequently feature 30-70 makers per event, but I also enjoy curating smaller pop-ups for smaller environments and indoor spaces that align with my core values. Invite me to host a QMM in your space through my contact form!
